If They Refuse
A "no" today is not a "no" forever. People change their minds, sometimes overnight. So the goal after a refusal is simple. Stay steady, and stay reachable.
Keep the door open. Tell your loved one you care about them and that the offer stands whenever they are ready. You do not need to argue or repeat yourself. One calm sentence lands harder than an hour of pressure.
State your boundary too. Boundaries are not punishment. They protect you and they make the situation honest. Decide what you will and will not do, then say it plainly and hold it.
Take care of yourself while you wait. This part wears people down. Lean on your own support, rest, and keep your own life running. You cannot help from empty.
Then be ready to move fast. Willingness often shows up suddenly, and a small delay can close the window. That is where we come in. We can walk through the admissions process with you now, gather what we need, and hold a plan ready so the day they say yes, there is nothing to figure out.
When you want to set that up, or you just have questions, call us at (609) 422-9370. We will take it from there.
